Kick off Homecoming with an evening celebrating the Black experience at Wake Forest while creating meaningful connections between current students and alumni. This networking experience will intentionally connect students with AWFUBA alumni based on professional interests, industries, and areas of expertise. Whether students are exploring career possibilities, seeking mentorship, or simply looking to expand their network, this event creates space for conversation, connection, and community—all in a celebratory Homecoming atmosphere.

Gather with students, alumni, and friends for a soulful Homecoming brunch featuring a soul food buffet and live music from a local jazz band. Beyond great food and music, the Jazz Brunch offers an intentional opportunity to build connections based on geography. Alumni will connect with fellow alumni and students who currently live, work, or are interested in relocating to their region. From the Triad to major cities across the country, find your people, expand your network, and enjoy a relaxed morning of fellowship and Wake Forest community.

The AWFUBA Post-Game Social is an informal opportunity for alumni, students, and friends to relax, grab a bite to eat, reconnect with familiar faces, and make new connections. No structured networking—just good conversation, good food, and a laid-back atmosphere to close out a great day of Homecoming activities.
