The Classes of 1960, 1961, and 1962 will celebrate your 60th reunion jointly September 16-18, so mark your calendars and make plans to be back for this milestone event. This year’s Homecoming and Reunion Weekend promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Beginning on Friday, we will gather for lunch at the Golden Deacs Event where we will hear from John Currie, Wake Forest’s Athletic Director and will welcome the Class of 1972 as they join the Golden Deacs. The classes of 1960, 1961, and 1962 will receive your 60 year pins. Our classes will have designated tables so we can sit together. After lunch, head downstairs to Pugh Auditorium to watch Parker Beverly’s documentary film on the History of Wake Forest Women. Parker will have a Q & A after the screening. Later that afternoon, come sway to the music on Mag Quad at Party So Dear and hear Kool and the Gang!
At 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, enjoy the Festival on the Quad, the Alumni Tailgate, and the WFU/Liberty football game. Game tickets will be available for purchase through the ticket office. On Sunday, gather in Wait Chapel for the Homecoming Worship Service.
Contact your friends and make plans to be here to see your friends. Keep checking this website for updated information as the weekend gets closer and plans for a safe and fun weekend are finalized.
We look forward to seeing each of you for this memorable weekend!
