It’s almost Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to campus! As fellow Deacs, we live and breathe our values of making the world a better place for all of its inhabitants. After all, without Pro Humanitate, there’s no humanitate!
- Bring a reusable bottle. Avoid concession lines by refilling your reusable water bottle at the free refill stations inside Allegacy stadium. You can bring one (1) completely empty, reusable water bottle through the gates as long as they are plastic (not glass or metal). Water refill stations will also be positioned at all events, making it easy for you to choose to reuse.
- Put it in the right can, Deacon fan. Look for paired trash receptacles and recycling bins at events and put waste in its place.
- Be mindful with merch. Take only the “swag” (e.g. pompoms, beads, buttons) that you think you’ll use, and save it all for next year! Black and Gold never goes out of style.
- Take the free shuttles with friends. Save yourself the headache of searching and paying for parking. Complimentary shuttles will make the 2-minute trip from 2400 Reynolda to campus continuously on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. WFU Athletics will also offer complimentary shuttles from 2400 Reynolda to Allegacy Stadium for the football game. The floor you’ll dance the night away on at Party So Dear will be made from recycled materials, many centerpieces will be reused throughout the weekend, and water refill stations will be available at all of our events to keep you hydrated.
