Weekend Details
We know this is a lot of information, but please review carefully before arriving on campus!
- Wondering what to wear? Casual black & gold attire is always in style. Most events are outside, so plan for chilly fall weather and walking on grass. We strongly recommend a jacket and comfortable shoes!
- Where to park? Take out the guesswork and park at 2400 Reynolda Road (just across the street from the main campus entrance) and ride the shuttle running continuously from 9:00 AM on Friday until 12:30 AM that evening.
- For a stress free experience, make it a priority to pick up your Reunion Party and/or Tailgate tickets at the Homecoming Welcome Center located in the Green Room in Reynolda Hall from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Friday.
- Reduce your environmental impact during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend by bringing a reusable water bottle. There are water fountains across campus where you can refill your bottle AND we’ll have water stations at Party So Dear and Tailgate for refilling your own bottles (You can bring one completely empty, reusable water bottle through the football stadium gates as long as it’s plastic–not glass or metal). Learn more about how Deacs can Go Green at Homecoming this year.
- There will be a canned food drive hosted by Wake Forest’s Omicron Sigma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated during Homecoming. Food collected will be distributed by Experiment in Self-Reliance to local teachers. There will be a bin for donations near the Hearn Plaza entrance of Reynolda Hall.
Friday, October 24
- Did you ONLY register for Party So Dear? You may go directly to one of the two entrances on Manchester Plaza (Mag Quad) where your bags will be checked. Guests who are 21+ can purchase drink tickets to be exchanged for beer/wine at the bars.
- Are you a Golden Deac (Class of 1975 or older)? Your registration packet may be picked up on the front patio of Benson University Center from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with reunion class photos at 11:30 followed immediately by lunch. Then, packets will be moved to the Homecoming Welcome Center in the Green Room of Reynolda Hall. Please note that the luncheon is at capacity and will not accept walk-ins.
- Does your undergraduate class year end in a 0 or 5? Pro tip: stop by the Welcome Center in the Green Room during the day to pick up your packet (ideally before 6:45). Please visit your class page for specific information.
- The Class of 2020’s 5th Reunion party in the Big Tent on Manchester Plaza starts at 9:00 PM.
- 10th – 45th Reunions are 7:30-10:30 PM on Poteat Field in Reunion Party Village. You will receive your wristband (please be sure to wear it) in your registration packet that is your ticket and “fast pass” into the party. Please pick up your packet at the Welcome Center in Reynolda Hall earlier in the day. Dinner buffet and beverages included.
- The 55th Reunion gathering for the Class of 1970 will be Friday evening at 6:00 PM in the Greene Hall Atrium (right off the Lower Quad).
- The Class of 1975’s 50th Reunion event begins at 6:30 PM with drinks and nibbles with dinner at 7:30 PM in Room 401 of the Benson University Center immediately following Party So Dear.
- The 60th Reunion for the Class of 1965 will be at 5:30 PM at a local restaurant, The River Birch Lodge (3324 Robinhood Rd, Winston-Salem, NC).
