It seems like just yesterday that football games, rolling the quad and tailgates were a regular part of our weekends. With ten years come and gone, it’s time to experience all of this together again for our Wake Forest reunion! Mark your calendar for November 2 & 3 and make plans to have a great weekend together. Homecoming Weekend is going to be bigger and better than ever before!
Our main class party will be on Friday night, but be sure to make plans to be in town Friday afternoon for a campus wide open house and Party So Dear, (a celebration featuring The Pointer Sisters under the big tent on Mag Quad.) After enjoying Party So Dear on Mag Quad, we’ll head to Shorty’s to reminisce about our Wake Forest Days over a delicious spread of Southern and local Winston-Salem favorites. In addition to the southern-style menu, an open beer and wine bar featuring local craft beer will be available throughout the evening. The entire weekend is casual attire or whatever makes you feel fun and festive!
On Saturday, enjoy the Festival on the Quad, campus tours, the tailgate and the WFU/Syracuse football game to name a few highlights. More exciting plans for the weekend are being finalized, so check back for updates.
We’ve surpassed our $75,000 class goal for reunion-year gifts to The Wake Forest Fund, but let’s keep the momentum going. If you haven’t made your gift yet, please do soon! We want to have 200 donors before Homecoming and need your help to meet that goal. The campaign started July 1, 2017, and will continue through Homecoming Weekend.
We hope you’ll make plans to join us for a memorable weekend! Registration will open in August, but in the meantime, contact your friends, make your reservations, and keep checking this website for more information as the weekend gets closer. Join our class facebook page and post pictures and messages for classmates. We’ll see you November 2 & 3!
