Forty-five years have passed quickly, and now our class reunion will be here soon! Come back September 20 & 21 for a Homecoming and Reunion Weekend that is going to be bigger and better than ever before! Our main class party will be on Friday night, but be sure to make plans to be in town Friday afternoon for a campus-wide Party So Dear, (a celebration featuring The Temptations under the big tent on Mag Quad). After enjoying Party So Dear, we’ll stay on campus, but head to our class party in Zick’s on the Quad (where the post office was back in our day) and reminisce with friends while enjoying a delicious spread of Southern and local Winston-Salem favorites. In addition to the southern-style menu, an open beer and wine bar featuring local craft beer will be available throughout the evening. The entire weekend is casual attire or whatever makes you feel fun and festive!
On Saturday, enjoy the Festival on the Quad, campus tours, the tailgate, and the WFU/Elon football game. More exciting plans for the weekend are being finalized, so check back for updates.
We are close to meeting our $136,000 class goal for reunion-year gifts to The Wake Forest Fund. We need a few more gifts and donors and could use your help. If you would like to be included and you haven’t made your gift yet, please do soon! The campaign started July 1, 2018, and will continue through Homecoming Weekend.
We hope you’ll make plans to join us for a memorable weekend! Registration is open so contact your friends, make your reservations, and keep checking this website for more information as the weekend gets closer. We’ll see you on September 20 & 21!
