No matter when you graduated from Wake Forest, the city of Winston-Salem has grown since you were last here. There are arts performances and galleries and fabulous new restaurants and bars that line the streets of downtown.
So along with the many events planned for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, you may want to enjoy the city as well. If you find yourself looking for things to do or places to eat while you are in town, let us point you in the right direction with these helpful links:

Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is a great time to come back and reconnect with campus and friends. While the majority of the weekend is family friendly, the class reunion events are designed as a time for classmates to be able to relax and enjoy adult conversation. This year we are offering two different childcare options and you can select the best fit for your family.
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend the Campus Open House, Party So Dear (featuring The Spinners), Festival on the Quad, Deacon Demo Show, Alumni Tailgate and football game.
In Home/Hotel Nanny Service:
Preferred Childcare will provide home/hotel childcare by a screened and experienced ChildCare Specialist throughout the weekend. Just be sure to mention that you are attending Wake Forest Homecoming and they will waive the registration fee. Young Deacon Experience:
Will be provided by Winston-Salem Christian School on Friday, October 28 from 6 – 11 p.m. $40 for one child and $20 for each additional child provides activities, dinner and an event t-shirt. Childcare is offered for children 4 years old and up. Children will be supervised while attending the school’s fall festival from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and afterward will enjoy age appropriate activities and movie. The school is adjacent to campus on the corner of University Parkway and Long Road and across the street from parking Lot A (shuttle parking). Space is limited, so please reserve your child’s space as soon as your plans are finalized. To make reservations and for more information, please visit their website.
The Wake Forest Women’s Field Hockey team will be taking on Appalachian State in Kentner Stadium at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
